On August 18, 2014, I launched a small boutique-style, concierge practice in order to continue to give highly attentive and personalized care. Before this transition, the size of my practice was at 4000 patients, limiting direct and timely patient access to me.

Benefits of membership in North Texas Preferred Health Partners or NTPHP:
- Guaranteed same-day or next-business-day appointments with Dr. Steve Lau between 8AM and 5PM Monday through Friday, unless Dr. Lau is out of town (expected to be 2-3 weeks per year for vacation and medical conferences), in which case guaranteed same-day or next-business-day access is available with a well-qualified covering physician.
- Ability to contact Dr. Steve Lau via phone, email, or texting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This will save you time, by having the ability to call, email or text your questions or concerns directly to Dr. Lau. This may be especially important for occasions when you are out of town, when access and timeliness are important.
- Annual executive-type physical that will encompass all aspects of health, nutrition, fitness and life-coaching. If needed, advanced heart testing, radiology tests (X-rays, CT or MRI scans), and lab tests will be ordered.
- Ability to stay in-network for most major insurances (in other words, Dr. Lau will maintain the same in-network status as before). Medicare and Tricare will be accepted also.
- Enhanced and personalized coordination of your care with the specialist(s) that you see. This will help to alleviate situations in the past where your specialist spends 5-10 minutes with you and does not communicate the testing and/or treatment plan with you adequately. You will find that the coordination of your health care will be greatly improved with Dr. Lau as your “quarterback” for the team of specialists around you.
- Complimentary valet parking and healthy snacks at each visit.
